BRINGS YOU
BROADWATER SHOTOKAN KARATE CLUB
Worthing Karate Classes

Broadwater Shotokan Karate Club has been established for over 3 years, and is based in Broadwater, Worthing, West Sussex. It was established by Robert Birchlea, a 7th Dan Chief Instructor with over 43 years karate experience, who still is active within the club, and also the founder of the Sussex Karate Association.

We welcome all grades of students, children and adults, from beginners right through to advanced students, and to those looking to achieve the highest grades and those wishing to gain an extra skill to enhance their lives.

We perform gradings approxmately every 4 months, and a starter can expect, with full commitment, to qualify as a Black Belt in around 4 years.

Dan grades for Shotokan Karate can be found on the NAKMAS website.

In addition, we shall bring fitness to all students to make them mentally and physically stronger
We realise that people have different levels and reasons for participating, and will always assist in finding the best suited method for your own personal satisfaction.
